Through my artwork, I am embracing my heritage. I can feel my

ancestors speaking to me through my work. My spirit-warrior within

me has been awakened and is ready to emerge. I have done wood

carving in the past and now have developed my free-hand, acrylic,

form-line design, and now, silver engraving. My goal is to embrace

all of these mediums with a traditional inspiration, melded with a

contemporary flare. My work will always evolve while maintaining

its roots, securely set in its source, like an eagle’s talons dug deep

into its prey. In the future I would like to  teach what I know to others,

who would like to learn the multi-layered dimensions of form-line

design.  I have never been so proud to be native, to be Nisga’a, to be

Laxgibuu. I want to share my creations with the world, to show what it

is like to see through my eyes. Through the eyes of the wolf.
